The calendar event is only one step. Workforce AI connects authorized calendar context to the request before the meeting and the recap, task, reminder, or next appointment after it.

What the connection does

From authorization to useful work

Context

Use the connected calendar context around a scheduling request or meeting.

Action

Use enabled calendar tools to support creating or managing the appointment.

Trigger

Control

Workspace rules

Approval and tool configuration determine which calendar actions can proceed.

In the product

Setup

Three steps, with the account owner in control

  1. 01

    Select Google Calendar

Choose it in onboarding or Integrations.

  2. 02

    Authorize the calendar

  3. 03

    Connect the surrounding flow

Choose the email, meeting, reminder, and follow-up behavior that should use calendar context.

Permission model

What authorization means

  • Only authorized calendar accounts are available to the workspace.
  • Google shows the requested access during connection.
  • The connection can be removed when it is no longer needed.
Boundaries

Connection limits and requirements

  • The page does not promise access to calendars that were not authorized.
  • Exact create, update, and reminder actions depend on enabled integration tools.
  • Calendar rules and participant consent still apply.
